Ultimate Status Bar
The Ultimate Status Bar is the main component of the Ultimate Status Bar package. It is used to customize and display each status that you want in your scene. Let's dive right in and go over what you have available to you in the inspector. First off, notice how there are 4 collapsible sections on the Ultimate Status Bar inspector. Let's go over each section so that we can get a better grasp of what each one is useful for.
The first section, Status Bar Positioning controls how the Ultimate Status Bar is positioned, whether on the screen or in the world, this section is used to place the Ultimate Status Bar where you want it in your scene. It's worth noting that the Ultimate Status Bar's positioning can be disabled as well by selecting the Disabled option for the Positioning option. The Screen Space option gives you many options for setting the Ultimate Status Bar on the screen exactly where you want. With this option enabled, the Ultimate Status Bar will reconfigure it's position each time the Canvas that it is in is resized. This is useful for Mobile Applications where the user can rotate the device, or in standalone games where the user can resize the game window. The World Space option can be used in your scene to have the Ultimate Status Bar follow the rotation of the Camera so that it will be displayed correctly.
The second section is the Status Bar Options. In this section, you can customize things that pertain to the status bar as a whole. These things could be the player or enemy ICON, or a player or enemy name or title. These things are fairly simple to figure out how they work and can be used. However, the Update Visibility option may not be so transparent. The Update Visibility option controls when and how the Ultimate Status Bar should be visible. This can be used to make the player status bars fade out slightly after not being damaged for a short period of time so that it will not draw as much of the user's attention. These options inside the the Status Bar Options section are not limited to the examples that have been provided. Feel free to use them in any ways that you can think of!
